Abstract

The study explored the relationship between economic, social and environmental aspects of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) on employee trust in the firm Manabi, a firm in Islamabad providing the highest quality of financial education. We received 67 valid responses, in which 50.7% are female and 49.3% male. The convenience sampling technique was used. The study reviewed theoretical perspectives such as social capital theory, concepts surrounding organisational trust, and pro-environmental behaviour models. Based on the hypotheses, it followed that all three dimensions of CSR significantly determine levels of an individual’s confidence in employers. Findings are important for organizations since they help them understand how CSR translates into employee confidence leading towards improved decision-making regarding sustainability practices Implementation limitations include its focus on one region and industry while neglecting age or gender differences.
